BARCELONA, Spain (AP) -Barcelona says coach Tito Vilanova is due back at the club after 10 weeks in the United States receiving treatment for a throat tumor.

The club says "Vilanova will be returning home this week after being in New York for the last two months."

Vilanova had a saliva gland tumor removed in November 2011, but underwent repeat surgery late last year. He then flew to the United States on Jan. 21 for chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

The club has had mixed results with assistant coach Jordi Roura in charge, getting knocked out of the Copa del Rey semifinals by Real Madrid while advancing to the Champions League quarterfinals after overturning a 2-0 deficit against AC Milan with an emphatic 4-0 win in the second leg at the Camp Nou.
